Seobility Review: Is It Worth It in 2026?

Short answer: Seobility is worth trying if you run one site or a few sites and want technical audits, keyword rank tracking and basic backlink monitoring in a single subscription. Paid plans start at €59.90 per month with monthly billing (excluding VAT). The free plan is limited to 100 pages per crawl and 10 tracked keywords; after each crawl, you must wait seven days and start the next crawl manually.

It is a weaker fit for very large sites, deep backlink research, or anyone who needs ChatGPT or Gemini visibility tracking today. Seobility lists that feature as “coming soon”.

I checked plans, limits and trial terms against Seobility’s official pages on 26 October 2026. I have not tested the product hands-on, so this review rests on documentation and public reports.

Disclosure: Some links to Seobility in this article are affiliate links. If you sign up for a paid plan through these links, SEORAF may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. SEORAF also has affiliate relationships with SE Ranking and Mangools, which are disclosed where relevant. These relationships do not determine this article’s editorial assessment. I have not tested Seobility hands-on; this review is based on official documentation and published third-party reports.

Quick answer

  • Consider it if: you manage a small or mid-size site (or a few client sites) and want audits, rank tracking and basic backlink monitoring in one tool.
  • Look elsewhere if: your site is larger than the crawl limits, you need deep link data, or you need AI-platform visibility tracking now.
  • Check first: add-ons can raise the real monthly cost, paid trials ask for a payment method, and older articles often show outdated prices.

How this review is built

I label claims by where they come from:

  • Official: statements on Seobility’s own pages, checked on the date above.
  • Independent: published reviews and user reports by other people. SEORAF has not verified these.
  • SEORAF calculation: simple arithmetic on official figures.

I have not tested Seobility hands-on for this article. Nothing here describes my own results.

Editorial independence: SEORAF is an independent SEO knowledge resource, not an agency, and does not sell rankings. Commissions do not change what I report. I also have affiliate relationships with SE Ranking and Mangools, which appear in the alternatives section, and I have not ordered the comparison by commission.

What Seobility is, and what it isn’t

Seobility, from Seobility GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany, is a web-based SEO platform. Its official pricing page lists a Website Audit (crawler), Ranking Monitoring (including Google AI Overviews), Backlink Monitoring and Analysis, SEO Competitor Analysis, Keyword Research and Content Tools, and Uptime Monitoring. AI Visibility Tracking is marked “coming soon” and an MCP integration is marked beta. Seobility also offers standalone tools, such as an SEO Checker and a Ranking Checker, that it says need no registration (see its free tools page).

Seobility Review SEO Tools Seobility Review

It is software for auditing and monitoring your own sites, with some competitor features. It is not a service that does SEO work for you.

A Behind Rankings review says the Seobility team told its author that Seobility tracks Google results only, and that its keyword data is validated against Google data but not collected directly from Google. I could not confirm either statement from an official page, so ask Seobility if either matters to you.

Seobility pricing and plan limits

These figures come from Seobility’s official pricing page and its official announcement about the 18 September 2026 pricing changes, checked on 26 October 2026. Prices are in euros excluding VAT. I have omitted the USD column because Seobility’s SEO Checker page still displays older pricing, which conflicts with the updated pricing announcement. For other tools, see our SEO software pricing hub.

Two things the page does not spell out: whether the keyword allowance is shared across projects or applies per project, and which plans include every feature check-mark in its comparison table. Confirm both during a trial.

Source: Seobility official pricing page, 26 Oct 2026. The daily top-50 and top-100 prices apply to the keywords included in your plan. Extra keywords cost extra.

Illustrative cost (SEORAF calculation): Premium at €59.90 plus one extra 100-keyword pack at €10.90 comes to €70.80 per month before VAT, for 400 tracked keywords. The page does not say whether the annual discount also applies to add-ons, so I have not assumed it does.

Why other sites show different prices

Some directories and older reviews still show previous figures. G2’s comparison pages list Premium at $50 per month, and iTechGuides lists a 1,000-page free plan. These figures conflict with Seobility’s current pricing page, which lists Premium at €59.90 per month and Basic at 100 pages per crawl.

Seobility’s official pricing-change announcement confirms that Premium and Agency prices changed on 18 September 2026 and that Professional was introduced as a new plan. Seobility says the Basic plan remains free and that the new price for existing annual subscribers applies at their next renewal. A third-party article, Ecommerce Paradise, also discusses the change, but the official announcement is the stronger source.

On VAT, Seobility’s FAQ says customers in Germany pay VAT and customers outside the EU do not. Its wording for other EU customers depends on a VAT ID and is unclear to me, so check at checkout.

Free plan and trial terms

According to the official pricing page:

  • Free Basic plan: 1 website project, 10 tracked keywords, 5 daily tool credits, a limited website audit, 100 pages per crawl and 3 listed AI prompts for a feature that is not yet generally available. It has no time limit and needs no credit card. After a crawl, you must wait 7 days before starting another one, and each crawl must be started manually. Duplicate-content analysis is limited, and PDF exports with your own logo are not available.
  • Paid trials: Premium, Professional and Agency each include a 14-day trial. Seobility asks for a valid payment method at signup and says you are not charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel in your account settings with no notice period. If you cancel after the trial, the subscription ends at the close of the current billing period. Contracts renew automatically each month or year.
  • Payment: credit card (Visa, American Express, Mastercard) or PayPal, with PDF invoices.

I could not find a refund policy on the official pages I reviewed, and I did not read Seobility’s full terms, so I make no refund claim. Some third-party reviews, such as AppScribed, say the paid trial needs no credit card. Seobility’s official pricing page says a valid payment method is requested for a paid trial, so check the current checkout terms before signing up.

If the free plan’s limits cover your site, the testing checklist below shows what to check before you pay for anything.

Seobility features in practice

Website audit

The official pricing page lists checks for HTTP status codes, broken pages, meta data, on-page elements, response times, URL structure, duplicate content, linked redirects, click distance, external link problems and blacklist status. It also lists a keyword cannibalization check and a report showing which pages are blocked for AI bots such as OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and Claude-SearchBot. Results export to CSV and PDF, and crawls can be scheduled at a custom interval.

The comparison table lists these checks under each paid plan, but I could not read which are included on which plan because it uses icons. Confirm JavaScript crawling and full duplicate-content analysis for your plan before relying on them.

One practical use is checking a site after a migration. The Behind Rankings review reports that Seobility flagged broken redirects, external links and links pointing to redirects after the author moved her domain. That is her account, not SEORAF’s test. For turning any crawler’s output into a fix list, see our technical SEO audit guide and SEO crawler guide.

Rank tracking and AI Overviews

Per the official page, desktop rankings within the first two Google pages update daily and mobile rankings every three days. Positions up to 100 come from snapshots refreshed every two weeks, and daily top-50 or top-100 tracking is a paid add-on. You can track by country and down to city level, monitor Local Pack positions, and view search volume, CPC, competition and search intent for keywords.

Seobility describes AI Overview tracking as part of ranking monitoring. It shows whether Google displays an AI Overview for a tracked keyword, plus the answer text, cited sources and each source’s position. In a July 2026 review, Behind Rankings described this as an indicator inside the rank tracker and not a dedicated trend dashboard, so check whether that has changed. For the wider category, see our AI Overviews tracking tools guide.

Backlink monitoring

The official page lists a weekly-updated backlink overview with new and lost links, broken backlink analysis, anchor text analysis, competitor backlink monitoring and link-building ideas. I did not find the size of Seobility’s link index on the pages I reviewed. If link research is central to your work, compare its numbers for your own site against the Links report in Google Search Console (see our Google Search Console guide) before relying on it.

Keyword and content tools

The Keyword Research Tool and the TF*IDF content tool share a daily request allowance of 50, 100 or 200 on Premium, Professional and Agency respectively. Treat TF*IDF output as one way to see which terms competing pages use, not as a checklist. Google’s guidance says its ranking systems prioritise helpful, reliable content made for people and not content made to manipulate rankings, and no tool can promise that adding terms improves rankings.

Uptime monitoring and reporting

Uptime monitoring checks your site’s start URL around the clock, tracks response times and sends email alerts, with check intervals of up to once per minute on Agency. Reporting features include PDF and CSV exports, read-only project sharing by link and white-label reports. I could not confirm from the page text which plans include white-label reports, so verify that if you serve clients. For report structure ideas, see our SEO report template guide.

The pricing table lists prompt allowances for AI Visibility Tracking, but Seobility’s own page says the feature is still rolling out. The same page says the visibility score reflects your chosen prompts, markets and platforms and is meant to show trends, not exact rankings. Do not choose a plan for this feature alone.

Advantages and limitations

Advantages

  • One subscription covers audits, rank tracking, backlink monitoring, keyword tools and uptime alerts (official).
  • A free plan with no time limit and no credit card, plus a 14-day trial on every paid plan (official).
  • Cancellation with no notice period (official).
  • City-level rank tracking, Local Pack tracking and an AI-bot access report (official).
  • Reviewers on G2 and Behind Rankings describe it as easy to use and beginner-friendly (independent).

Limitations

  • The free plan is small: 100 pages per crawl and 10 keywords (official).
  • Mobile rankings update every three days, and positions beyond the first two Google pages refresh every two weeks unless you buy daily tracking (official).
  • Extra keywords, projects and daily deep tracking are paid add-ons, so the real price can exceed the plan price (official).
  • No sub-accounts are listed for Premium, and Agency’s crawl cap is 100,000 pages per crawl (official).
  • AI Visibility Tracking is not yet generally available (official).
  • Some G2 reviewers say reports can be hard to interpret, flagged issues sometimes need manual checking, and advanced features are limited on lower tiers. Behind Rankings notes slower support and occasional ranking differences (independent, anecdotal).

Who Seobility suits, and who may prefer another tool

The table maps common situations to a fit. It reflects the verified limits above and my own judgement, and I have not tested the product.

Fit ratings are SEORAF’s editorial judgement, based on official limits.

What independent users report

In search results retrieved on 26 October 2026, G2 showed 4.6 out of 5 from 401 reviews, Capterra showed 4.6 from 62, and Trustpilot showed 4.5 from 85. Counts change, so re-check them. G2’s comparison data shows about 93% of Seobility’s G2 reviewers are small businesses, so treat the ratings as context and not proof of fit for larger teams.

The recurring praise is ease of use and value. The recurring complaints are limited features on lower tiers, reports that can be hard to read, flagged issues that need manual verification, and occasional differences in ranking data.

The Behind Rankings review compared Seobility’s rankings with Semrush and Ubersuggest for a handful of keywords and found most positions similar. That is one site and a small sample. Its author also says she was invited to try Seobility in March 2026, and I do not know whether that came with any compensation. Its price figures mix older and newer numbers, so I used only the official page for pricing.

One Trustpilot reviewer says Seobility found far fewer external links than Google Search Console shows for their site. That is a single unverified report, but it is a reason to run the comparison in the checklist below.

Seobility alternatives and how they differ

I did not verify competitor prices or limits for this article, so the table compares categories of fit and avoids numbers. Check each vendor’s official pages. For a broader list, see our SEO software alternatives hub.

How to test Seobility before paying

A trial is a practical way to judge fit. This is the checklist I would follow:

  1. Add the site you actually work on and run a full crawl.
  2. Compare the top issues with what Google Search Console reports for the same site.
  3. Add the keywords you already track elsewhere and compare positions after a few days.
  4. Check whether AI Overview indicators appear for your keywords and on which plan.
  5. Compare Seobility’s backlink count for your site against Search Console’s Links report.
  6. Export a PDF or CSV report and see whether it suits your reporting.
  7. If you have several sites, check how the keyword allowance applies across projects.
  8. Find the cancellation setting and note the trial end date before you start.

The free Basic plan needs no card. Paid trials ask for a payment method, and you can cancel in account settings before the trial ends.

Verdict

On the evidence I could verify, Seobility is a reasonable option for small sites, freelancers and small agencies that want audits, rank tracking and basic backlink monitoring in one subscription. Its main strengths are that it covers several tasks at once and that you can try it free or for 14 days. Its main weaknesses are the small free plan, add-on costs, unclear backlink coverage and an AI visibility feature that is not yet generally available.

  • Choose Seobility if your sites fit within the crawl and keyword limits and you value a simple interface.
  • Look elsewhere if you manage very large sites, need deep link research or need AI-platform tracking now.
  • Test first if you are unsure. Run the checklist above on your own site and compare it with Google Search Console.
Seobility Review SEO Tools Seobility Review

If the limits above fit your site, the lowest-risk next step is the free plan: sign up for Seobility’s official Basic plan. Move to a paid plan only if you outgrow it. This verdict rests on documentation and public reports, not on SEORAF testing.

Seobility FAQs

Is Seobility free?

Seobility has a free Basic plan with no time limit. As of 26 October 2026 it includes 1 project, 10 tracked keywords, 100 pages per crawl and a limited audit. You must wait seven days after a crawl before starting another, and the next crawl must be started manually. Paid plans start at €59.90 per month excluding VAT. See the official FAQ for the Basic-plan limits.

Does the Seobility free trial need a credit card?

The official pricing page says a valid payment method is requested when you start a paid trial, and that you are not charged if you cancel before it ends. The free Basic plan does not require a card.

Can I cancel Seobility at any time?

Yes, according to Seobility. Cancel in your account settings with no notice period. After the trial, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. I did not find a refund policy, so check Seobility’s terms.

Why do other sites show different Seobility prices?

Some directories and reviews still list older figures, including $50 for Premium and a 1,000-page free plan. As of 26 October 2026, Seobility’s official pricing page lists Premium at €59.90 per month and Basic at 100 pages per crawl. Its official pricing-change announcement confirms that Premium pricing changed on 18 September 2026. Use the updated pricing page rather than older third-party listings.

What does Seobility cost beyond the plan price?

Extra projects, 100-keyword packs, daily top-50 and top-100 tracking and AI prompt packs are billed monthly on top of the plan. For example, Premium (€59.90) plus one extra 100-keyword pack (€10.90) is €70.80 per month before VAT. That figure is a SEORAF calculation from official prices.

Does Seobility track Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT?

Seobility describes AI Overview tracking as part of Ranking Monitoring. Its broader AI Visibility Tracking, covering ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode, is marked “coming soon” and is rolling out gradually.

Is Seobility good for agencies?

It may suit small agencies. The Agency plan lists 20 projects, unlimited sub-accounts and phone support. Verify white-label reporting and keyword limits against your client load, and compare alternatives before committing.

How accurate is Seobility’s data?

I could not verify accuracy. Independent reports are mixed: one reviewer found rankings largely matching other tools on a small keyword set, while some users report differences. Google Search Console remains the best check for your own site’s data.
